Another WTF Moment: Convicted Sex Offender Tries To Wed A 9-year-old At Disneyland Paris

PARIS — When you think of Disneyland Paris, visions of fairy-tale castles, cotton candy, and appropriately aged princesses probably pop to mind.

But last Saturday, park-goers got a very different chapter in the Disney saga: a 39-year-old Brit allegedly tried to wed a 9-year-old “bride” in a top-secret mock wedding—complete with hundreds of clueless extras, a string quartet, and zero fairy godmothers to sound the alarm.

The Plot Thickens
Jean-Baptiste Bladier, prosecutor in nearby Meaux, summed it up best: this was no Disney romance—“a fictitious ceremony intended to be filmed privately” that crashed and burned when staff spotted the pint-sized “bride” in her poofy white crinoline.

In park lingo, it was basically “Happily Never After.”

Enter Our Villain…Err, Groom
The groom?

A convicted sex offender from Britain, reportedly using a stolen Latvian identity and so much makeup he could’ve headlined “Drag Race: Meaux Edition.”

Bladier revealed he’s now charged with fraud, identity theft, money laundering, and “assisted witness” status in a potential corruption-of-a-minor probe. (Alas, no pumpkin-carriage getaway this time.)

“Why Are the Extras on Pause?!”
About 100 French actors answered an online ad for a “prestige wedding rehearsal,” black-and-white dress code, 200 euros each, absolute secrecy.

Yeelen Eyogo Edzang, a 50-something French actress, showed up at dawn in designer black tie, only to find worried Disneyland staff blocking her hotel’s ballroom entrance.

“The girl is 9; we are stopping everything,” one staffer said, just before Ms. Edzang spotted a tiny “bride” being carried in.
“She was so small—like Tinker Bell if she’d had a really overzealous fairy godfather,” Eyogo quipped later.

Latvian ‘Father’ Sounds the Alarm
A 55-year-old Latvian extra, hired for 12,000 euros to play “dad,” got the shock of his life when he discovered the “daughter” was a child.

He phoned park security faster than Goofy trips over his own ears.

Spotlight on the Real Offender
British police won’t name him until he’s charged, but details fit London’s own stuntman-turned-offender, Jacky Jhaj—jailed in 2016 for deceiving 15-year-olds into “movie auditions.”

BBC investigations also pin him for booking child actors in Leicester Square for a fake film premiere, complete with directions to “cry, far-reaching, and faint” as he paraded the red carpet.

Charming.

Disneyland’s “Oops, Sorry!”
In vintage corporate-speak, Disneyland Paris issued a statement: they “immediately canceled the event after identifying major irregularities,” have “filed a complaint,” and are “cooperating fully” with authorities.

Translation: “We regret the inconvenience, enjoy your wine, and never mention this again, okay?”

No Magic Wand for This One
Thankfully, the 9-year-old Ukrainian “bride” and her mother—who’d flown in just two days earlier—were unharmed.

A doctor confirmed no physical or sexual abuse occurred, and the girl wasn’t forced.

Let’s just say her next vacation request might skip “fairy princess wedding” and stick to “meet Mickey Mouse.”

Moral of the Story?
When life gives you extra actors, a secret ceremony, and zero due diligence, you get a headline fit for a satirical sketch.

This wasn’t Disney’s finest hour—instead of “Something Familiar, Something Real,” it was more like “Something Awful, Something Unreal.”

Please Help Find These Forgotten Girls Held at Male Juvenile Prison for Over a Year!

MY MOST IMPORTANT STORY  Dozens of Forgotten Little Girls Held at Male Juvenile Prison for Over a Year! Welcome to the Sunshine State , where the palm trees sway, the alligators lurk, and the legislative process makes Kafka look like a life coach!  Florida House Bill HB21 . Not just a compensation bill but possibly a 20 million dollar "Stay out of Jail Free" card for some folks. This is a bill that does some good—but also trips over its own shoelaces, falls down a staircase, and lands on a historical oversight so big, it might as well have its own zip code! An oversight that overlooks what I consider to be its most vulnerable victims! The Setup: Justice with a Catch HB21 was enacted on July 1, 2024 to compensate victims of abuse from two male juvenile detention facilities located in Florida, Dozier and Okeechobee.  It says, “Hey, survivors of abuse between 1940 and 1975, here’s some compensation for the horrific things you endured!” Sounds good, right? Postal Police Stuck Behind ‘Keep Out’ Signs While Mailmen Face Muggers: You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!!

As crime against letter carriers surges, one would think that America’s armed, uniformed Postal Police might be hitting the streets to protect our mail.  Instead, they’re still glued to their post office entrances like sentries guarding Fort Frownmore.  Why?  Because since 2020, the Postmaster General decreed they must “protect postal property” only—meaning, they currently serve as glorified lobby bouncers rather than actual roaming guardians of the mailstream. “ They’re robbing letter carriers, they’re sticking a gun in a letter carrier’s face and they’re demanding arrow keys, ” laments Frank Albergo , president of the National Postal Police Union and a Postal Police Officer himself.  An "arrow key" in the context of the Post Office is a specialized, universal key that postal workers use to access various locked mail receptacles, including collection boxes, apartment mailboxes, and cluster boxes. Albergo isn’t exaggerating—research shows over 100 physical assaul...
