WTF Moment: California Vice Mayor Calls For Gangs To Rise And Fight ICE Officers!

Imagine you’re a small-city official—say, vice mayor of Cudahy, California—tasked with calming your community about ICE raids.

What do you do? Issue a press release? Hold a town hall?

Not Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez. Instead, she posted a video aimed at gang members that basically boils down to:

“You guys tag everything up, claiming hood, and now that your hood’s being invaded by the biggest gang there is, there ain’t a peep out of you.”

Yes, you read that right. The vice mayor of Cudahy, California just summoned gangs to rise up and fight in her city!

In a now-deleted social-media clip, Vice Mayor Gonzalez directly called on notorious street gangs 18th Street and Florence to “step up” against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

Cue the DHS Statement
Unsurprisingly, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) labeled Gonzalez’s remarks “despicable,” warning that cheering on the “vicious 18th Street gang” to assault federal officers will only fuel attacks on ICE agents.

In their post on X, DHS reminded everyone bluntly: “If you assault a federal officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

I would think that a statement like the one made by Vice Mayor Gonzalez would make her responsible for any acts committed by gangs against law enforcement.

Police Union Says “Hasta La Vista, Vice Mayor!”
The Los Angeles Police Protective League slammed Gonzalez, calling her rhetoric “deplorable” and “potentially illegal.

” They want her out—stat—and have even hinted at possible prosecution if her call-to-arms violated the law."

“What Ms. Gonzalez urged and taunted these specific gangs to do … puts law enforcement at greater risk,” the union stated.

Gonzalez’s Resume vs. Her Rant
For context: Gonzalez is a USC-educated former teacher and principal with two master’s degrees and a doctorate in educational leadership from UCLA.

She claims to be “passionate about creating healthy and safe communities.” Yet here she is, telling hardened criminals to play paramilitary.

It’s like hiring the "Joker" to babysit Gotham’s toddlers!

Political Climate: ICE Raids + Gang Pride = Dumpster Fire
This video dropped amid bold ICE sweeps in L.A., bolstered by jacked-up National Guard and Marine escorts.

Local leaders like Mayor Karen Bass preached peaceful protest; Gonzalez was apparently unaware you can’t ask gangs for backup without expecting backup.

Cultural Context: Gang Loyalty vs. Law Enforcement
Sure, street gangs boast fierce neighborhood pride—spray-painting walls, turf wars, mixtapes about rival crews.

But there’s a fine line between “protecting your turf” and breaking federal law.

By framing ICE as “the biggest gang there is,” Gonzalez blurred that line, turning immigrant enforcement into a gang-versus-gang turf conflict.

What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Plenty.

Gangs aren’t exactly known for following rules or leaving witnesses unharmed.

Encouraging them to “protect our people” hands them license to attack anyone in an ICE uniform—federal or local—while leaving civilians stuck in crossfire.

In short, a meltdown recipe: a dash of vigilante justice, a pinch of federal crimes, and a tsunami of bad headlines.

City & School District Respond
Cudahy’s City Hall disavowed Gonzalez’s remarks, stressing they “do not represent the views or official position of the City.”

The L.A. Unified School District confirmed she’s on leave, citing confidentiality around personnel matters.

But that hasn’t stopped calls for her to resign—or at least enroll in an anger-management course!

Final Thoughts
If ever you need a cautionary tale of how not to address federal agents, Gonzalez’s video is your handy tutorial.

Instead of rolling out community programs, gun-safety education, or multilingual town halls, she invented Gang 2.0: ICE Edition.

Who knew that the next big law-enforcement challenge would come from someone who's supposed to uphold law and order!

The video below shows her now deleted post as reported by local news.

Please Help Find These Forgotten Girls Held at Male Juvenile Prison for Over a Year!

MY MOST IMPORTANT STORY  Dozens of Forgotten Little Girls Held at Male Juvenile Prison for Over a Year! Welcome to the Sunshine State , where the palm trees sway, the alligators lurk, and the legislative process makes Kafka look like a life coach!  Florida House Bill HB21 . Not just a compensation bill but possibly a 20 million dollar "Stay out of Jail Free" card for some folks. This is a bill that does some good—but also trips over its own shoelaces, falls down a staircase, and lands on a historical oversight so big, it might as well have its own zip code! An oversight that overlooks what I consider to be its most vulnerable victims! The Setup: Justice with a Catch HB21 was enacted on July 1, 2024 to compensate victims of abuse from two male juvenile detention facilities located in Florida, Dozier and Okeechobee.  It says, “Hey, survivors of abuse between 1940 and 1975, here’s some compensation for the horrific things you endured!” Sounds good, right? Postal Police Stuck Behind ‘Keep Out’ Signs While Mailmen Face Muggers: You Can’t Make This Stuff Up!!

As crime against letter carriers surges, one would think that America’s armed, uniformed Postal Police might be hitting the streets to protect our mail.  Instead, they’re still glued to their post office entrances like sentries guarding Fort Frownmore.  Why?  Because since 2020, the Postmaster General decreed they must “protect postal property” only—meaning, they currently serve as glorified lobby bouncers rather than actual roaming guardians of the mailstream. “ They’re robbing letter carriers, they’re sticking a gun in a letter carrier’s face and they’re demanding arrow keys, ” laments Frank Albergo , president of the National Postal Police Union and a Postal Police Officer himself.  An "arrow key" in the context of the Post Office is a specialized, universal key that postal workers use to access various locked mail receptacles, including collection boxes, apartment mailboxes, and cluster boxes. Albergo isn’t exaggerating—research shows over 100 physical assaul...
